What is Lumi
Lumi is an AI-augmented lifelong learning platform for 10-25-year-olds to solve real world problems (aligned to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals) and build skills to prepare them for college, career and life. Lumi is highly engaging, empowering, and fun for everyone involved!
- It runs digital, cohort -based Quests (online programmes) guided by Innovation Facilitators.
- Participants ("Luminaries") use Lumi's AI-enabled platform to engage outside of facilitated live sessions.
- Luminaries develop tech-enabled solutions to real global and business problems.
- And obtain an accredited Digital Skills Passport showcasing skills acquired in Entrepreneurship, Human-AI Collaboration, and Design-Thinking

A Lumi Quest
A four-step design-thinking journey where an Innovation Facilitator guides a cohort of young people to solve real-world problems and build digital and digital skills.
Session 1-6: Problem Investigation & Research
Dive into the problem space by researching, interviewing, and observing to understand users’ needs and the context. This phase lays the groundwork of selecting a real world problem to tackle.
Session 7-9: Ideation & Prototyping
Generate and explore a broad array of ideas, then narrow down to develop prototypes. This phase is about quickly bringing concepts to life to test their feasibility and impact.
Session 10-14: Test & Refine
Session 15: Capstone Activity
Present the tangible solution, highlighting the journey from problem understanding to the final solution. This phase seeks to gain support or feedback by showcasing the project’s potential impact.

GreenerWorld champions the power of small eco-actions, rewarding users for climate-positive behavior with a competitive leaderboard feature to track success.

Problem:
Diversity enriches our world, yet discrimination and hate, from microaggressions to hate crimes, continue to harm individuals and society.
Solution:
An educational chatbot designed for all ages and backgrounds, utilizing interactive modules, videos, and questions to combat inequality.
FlipTheSwitch
Problem:
Overlooked daily habits are a major issue, with household and lifestyle choices accounting for 72% of global greenhouse emissions.
Solution:
FlipTheSwitch strives to cut energy use by offering a platform for sharing tips, along with custom timers and reminders to keep users motivated.
REGEN
Problem:
Graffiti, often viewed as vandalism, stifles artistic expression due to its illegality and negative perception.
Solution:
Regen connects artists and business owners, facilitating legal graffiti spaces for creative expression and enabling artists to tokenize and monetize their work.
